Every visit at Accelerate is one-on-one with a doctor of physical therapy, built around your sport and measured on VALD force plates rather than guesswork. For patients in Canyon Lake, that means a 30-minute drive to New Braunfels, and for most of them it’s an easy trade.
Lake country gives you plenty of ways to get hurt. Wakeboarding and skiing, hill trail runs, eighteen holes in the heat, pickleball four mornings a week. These are the problems we see most:
Not hurt, but want to know where you stand before a season or a big training block? A performance physical gives you baseline strength and force plate numbers to measure against.
If your kid plays for the Hawks, the questions after an injury are always the same. How long will this take? And is it actually safe to go back?
We answer both with testing. Before an athlete is cleared, we compare the injured side to the healthy side for strength, jumping and landing, and we share those numbers with parents and coaches. That’s how you avoid the most common mistake in youth sports rehab: a kid who feels fine, goes back too early and gets hurt again.
We work with high school and youth athletes on everything from ACL reconstructions to overuse injuries in multi-sport kids. Getting them back for the season matters. Getting them back without a second injury matters more.
Dry needling, if it’s useful for your injury, is part of a normal visit rather than an add-on.
Together, they lead a team dedicated to your success, integrating advanced methods, sport-specific rehabilitation, and true athlete care into every session.

“I came to the practice just 4 days post-op from an ACL reconstruction with a quad graft, and they had me walking without crutches and without a limp or pain by one week post-op! … My surgeon even complimented my recovery and told me it was the fastest he had seen in more than 10,000 surgeries he has performed!”

Google review“After two sessions with Jonas, I couldn’t believe how much better I was feeling! He taught me the reason the pain was there and how to avoid it. It’s been four years now and I haven’t thrown my back out once!”

Google review“My son was injured during a football practice and he worked quickly to get him back on his feet. It’s a totally different experience than going to a traditional PT, if you have an athlete he is extremely sport focused.”

If you want one-on-one care and a return to sport based on testing, it is. The drive is around 30 minutes, and we’ll tell you on the discovery call whether we’re the right fit for your injury.
No. You can book directly with us. If you’ve already seen a surgeon or doctor, bring what they gave you and we’ll work with them.
Tell us your week on the discovery call and we’ll look at which appointment times work with the drive.
It depends on the injury. A flare-up of tendon pain can settle in a few weeks, while an ACL reconstruction usually takes nine to twelve months before full sport. We’ll give you a realistic range at your first visit and update it as your testing improves.
No. Plenty of our patients are runners, golfers, lifters and pickleball players who want to keep doing what they enjoy without pain. If you’re active, you’re the person we built this for.
